
Visitors to the Hungarian Wine Summit 2022 will have the opportunity to get an insight into the diverse world of Hungarian sparkling wines and Tokaj wines. In Hungexpo’s Pavilion A, sparkling wine experts Orsi Szentkirályi and Péter Tüű will assist visitors in discovering the exciting wine styles during the entire exhibition, from 22-24 March 2022, 10-18 hrs. In addition to the all-day tasting, there are also courses to attend.

Dr. Orsi Szentkirályi: Orsi is a Hungarian-born wine professional based in London. She is a Doctor of Law, specialising in protected origin of wine. Her vinous career started in hospitality, she worked as a sommelier in top establishments around the world before moving to luxury wine retail and eventually starting her own consulting company, Liquid Talent. Besides being a judge and ambassador at the International Wine Challenge and a judge at Decanter World Wine Awards she is the managing editor of the Sotheby’s Wine Encyclopedia and in charge of tasting quality control at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships. She is currently a candidate for both the Master of Wine and Master Sommelier titles.

Péter Tüű: Proud holder of the Champagne Master-Level Certificate with Highest Honours at Wine Scholar Guild. Two-Time Hungarian Sommelier Champion. Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. Head Sommelier in the Michelin-recommended restaurant Laurel Budapest, but also working as a consultant for wineries, lecturer for several wine education institutions and wine-related courses.
