Carastelec Sparkling Winery

The Carastelec Sparkling Winery is the first investment in Romania dedicated to the production of sparkling and semi-sparkling wines. It is located in the region of Crisana, one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Transylvania, near Măgura Şimleului, a crystal island in north-western Transylvania. The Carastelec village / Northern Transylvania / Crisana wine region has all the main conditions for the production of an excellent sparkling wine: moderate continental climate and high diurnal range in the ripening period.
