Demetervin family’s boutique winery cultivates special volcanic terroirs of Mád, part of the World Heritage. For them, it is a great challenge, and they try everything to work with the methods of the ancestors. Still, they pay close attention to the taste of modern wine lovers in the world’s great metropolises. They try to keep up all the beautiful traditions of the heritage, so they use horse cultivation, hand presses, only natural yeasts, bio methods, meaning a lot of risk and manual labour. But in their opinion, this is the way to express the uniqueness of Tokaj for the modern world.
