Erzsébet Winery

Erzsébet Pince was founded by one of the first female winemakers in Tokaj, Erzsébet Prácser. She and her husband bought a 17th-century cellar and bottled their 1st aszú from 1993. Today, the winery produces 15,000 bottles a year, all from historical grand cru and premier cru sites on 10 ha classified in the 18th century. The Prácser family runs the estate; they take pride in the production of exceptional single-vineyard dry wines and aszú. All of the wines are made in small lots, from low-yielding vineyards that use sustainable viticulture. Ronn Wiegand MW, MS consults the winery since 2009.
