Haraszthy Winery

The winery was founded in 1996 in Etyek, in Öreghegy, by Carlos Coelho, a native of Argentina who is also at home in California and Hungary. It was named after Ágoston Haraszthy, the father of Californian viticulture, who set an example by successfully combining traditional values with a modern approach. Over the past two and a half decades, under the leadership of winemaker Dániel Pázmányi, we have continued to produce our characterful wines with Mr. Haraszthy’s value system in mind.
