Holdvölgy is a privately-owned winery in one of the most volcanic regions of the Tokaj appellation, Mád basin. The focus is on quality through sustainable viticulture. 

The wines are made in limited quantities with utmost respect for the fruit and terroir. Traditional winemaking techniques are combined with modern technology (temperature-controlled micro-sized 10hl steel tanks) with the aim of minimising intervention in the winemaking process. The goal is to produce wines year in, year out that are authentic reflections of the terroir and vintage.
