The Ikon Winery is situated on the grounds of historical Rádpuszta, which had belonged to the highly esteemed Tihany Abbey for centuries as a wine growing estate. The tradition of viticulture was reborn when Ikon Winery opened in 2007. János Konyári, founder and oenologist had left behind his legacy of vision, experience, and passion for winemaking. The contiguous 39-hectare vineyard of Ikon Winery is a unique gem on the southern shore of Lake Balaton. Surrounded by an enchanting natural environment, the estate as well as the buildings of the winery became a charming sight of the Lake Balaton region.
