The winery was founded in 1992 by Attila Tar and his family. He planted 1 ha Olaszrizling on the slopes of Győrszemere. After more than 30 years of steady growth, the winery now owns 70 hectares of vineyards. In 2019, the family’s dream came true as they built a modern winery on the side of ‘Vár-hegy’ Tényő. István, the founder’s youngest son, has been managing the winery since 2013. The goal of the new leader is to make fruity, pure wines that fairly represent the wine region.
