Bodrog Borműhely Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos, 2013

This exceptional noble sweet wine is one of the wine world’s most extraordinary wonders, combining tradition, innovation and excellence. Year after year, we refine our winemaking process to showcase this wonder we call aszú.

We macerate the aszú berries in still fermenting wine, wait a day for the berries to swell and release their sugars and precious flavours, then press. The fermentation of the must is a slow process, which takes place in the lower part of the cellar in small 220 litre ‘Szerednyei’ barrels. The wine is aged in barrels for two years before bottling.
