Cserszegi Fűszeres is a relatively new variety originating in the 1960’s from the Cserszegtomaj experimental vineyard. A crossbreed of Irsai Olivér and Traminer, it is easily recognisable by its heady aromatics characterised by grape, honey, and a distinct spiciness owing to the variety. This orange wine is characterised by a dark, amber colour, heavy body and high viscosity. The aromatics are complex and dynamic, with tobacco, quince, mignonette, peach, and pear. Broad palate, fruity notes, pleasant acids.
