It is a traditional Hungarian variety, producing fragrant, acid-rich, juicy wines. It has a light, pale greenish-yellow colour. The nose has a hint of pepper, sage and ripe gooseberries. On the palate, the lively acidity emerges first, followed by aromas reminiscent of summer apple and ripe citrus fruit – accompanied by some zesty undertones. Best chilled to 10-12 °C. An excellent refreshing wine, one of the best accompaniments to summer salads.
This is a plantation with a single curtain training system. It is produced using a reductive process in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 14 degrees Celsius, with the addition of a yeast and yeast supplement specific to the variety. The finished wine rests in plastic containers with floating lids until bottling.
