Farkó-Kő Kékfrankos, 2021

Our first single-vineyard red wine. After two months of ageing in stainless steel, it was racked into Hungarian oak barrels and allowed to mature for a full year. Ruby red colour and crunchy cherries on the nose. The limestone soil had a definite impact on this versatile variety. The vibrant acidity on the palate, the unforgettable fruitiness and the special, salty-mineral duality of the Farkó-kő vineyard, is finally expressed in a red wine. The total production is just over a thousand bottles. Certified organic wine.
