Szamorodni is a noble sweet Tokaj wine speciality made by harvesting whole bunches containing ripe, overripe and botrytised aszú berries. The luscious nose displays fresh honey, pear and delicious grapes, with oaky notes from barrel ageing and a hint of elegant botrytis in the background. There is plenty of fruit on the palate with vanilla, citrus, and a slight caramel creaminess. Despite its sweetness, the citrus flavours, inherent freshness, lightness, vibrancy and playful acid-sugar-alcohol balance make for great drinkability. Easy to pair with creative food.
