The Etyek-Buda wine region is famous for sparkling wines. The soil type (chalk, limestone) and climate help to create wines with great and intense acidity. Our Öreghegy Brut displays the typical freshness of sparkling wines. The flavours are dominated by citrus, cooked apple and almond. Thanks to its beautiful acid structure, it is a great match for practically any event. From the first sip to the last, it offers a wonderful tasting experience.
The grapes were hand-picked and carefully selected, then pressed whole and the juice fermented in stainless steel tanks with special sparkling wine yeasts. After fermentation, the base wine was aged on the lees for a year, also in the same tanks, and then assembled after tasting. Following bottling and the second fermentation, the wine was left on the lees for 4 years and then disgorged with 5g dosage.
