Pinot Noir is widely grown in the Etyek-Buda wine region, as the climate and soil are well suited to this grape variety. We like to try out new clones in the vineyard and new technologies in the winery when it comes to Pinot noir. The goal is to create a complex and fruity Pinot with smooth tannins. It is a bright ruby-coloured wine typical of Pinot Noir. The nose is mainly spicy, with fresh fruity notes. The cherry and raspberry flavours are complemented by cherry, sweet spices and the fuller aromas of barrel ageing.
The grapes were machine-harvested and the juice was fermented at a controlled temperature. After pressing, it was aged for one year in new and 2–3-year-old barriques (228-litre) (Hungarian, French and American oak, mixed), then filtered and bottled.
