The white counterpart of Egri Bikavér is Egri Csillag. This elegant, full-bodied but not heavy white wine is made from a blend of white varieties typical of the Carpathian Basin and the wine region. It is a perfect gastro-wine and can be served with the classic Hungarian cuisine and vegetable dishes. Best served at a temperature of 10-11°C. The optimal drinking window is within 2 years after bottling.
