The 2022 vintage favoured late ripening varieties. Hot days and warm nights ripened the Olaszrizling to perfection. It’s a very important variety for us because it’s one of the traditional varieties of the Mátra wine region. When the typical white-flowery must of this variety arrived in the cellar, there was no doubt that it would become the next member of our wine family. In addition to the floral and white-fleshed fruit aromas mentioned above, a hint of salinity and almond flavours spice up the finish.
