It is grown on 25 hectares in Hungary, almost exclusively in the Pécs wine region. Given the right vintage, Cirfandli has an above-average aging potential, and as a sweet wine it is even more suitable for long ageing. Buttery, with hints of almond and surprisingly mineral, this is a very pleasant expression of the variety. Sweet aromas of apricot and honey. Good acids, oily texture, a little alcoholic sweetness at the end.
