Aszú is a key product of our winery. It is produced only in exceptionally good years. Our quality method of macerating 1 kg of shrivelled aszú berries in 1 litre of fermenting base wine paves the way for concentration and quality, along with all the positive qualities an aszú wine would naturally have. The minerality is masked by a great deal of sweetness, but the high sugar content is balanced by the bitterness of the botrytis, the acidity and the mineral layers in the deep structure of our wines.
