- Brief description of viticulture, fermentation, vinification and maturation: Viticulture: 3,500 vines/ha, Guyot training system, strict yield control - 2.0 kg/vine. Harvested by hand. Fermentation in stainless steel Taucher tanks with temperature control, cultured yeast fermentation, gentle maceration, 10-12 days skin contact. Maturation: 85% in second and third filled, 15% in new Hungarian, partly French 500-litre oak barrels for 14 months.
- Special remarks on the wine: A red wine of unique character, well-structured but at the same time sophisticated with dominant notes of sour cherry and cherry.
