Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos, 2013

The world’s noblest sweet wine. It is characterised by an extraordinary richness of taste, aroma and flavour. Its perfect harmony of acidity and sweetness makes it the perfect accompaniment to cakes, fruit and sweets. An excellent choice for tea cakes, sweet Christmas biscuits and cakes, apricot sponge cake, diplomat pudding, roast duck with plums, roast game with chutney and goose liver terrine. Due to its high penicillin content, it also has an excellent healing effect.

After a long ripening period and the development of a good amount of botrytis, the harvest lasted from mid-October to the end of November. After cluster selection, spontaneous fermentation took place in barrels, followed by almost 30 months of ageing in 300-litre Zemplén oak barrels. The wine has beautiful aromas, strong acids, concentration, elegance and liveliness.
