Medium golden colour. On the nose it comes with the smells of oriental spices, sweet ripeness, vanilla, royal jelly, roasted seeds, candied orange. On the palate, it has a big and tight body with dynamic acids, and a frowning character. Extremely complex taste with vanilla and caramel, honey and orange jam, dried apricots and sandalwood with some black tea character. Endlessly long, complex and concentrated with decades of ageing potential.
Vintage: 2019 was one of the most beautiful botrytised vintages of the last decade, notwithstanding the challenges. The wines are amazingly complex, yet light and fruity. The acidity/residual sugar ratio fills the Szamorodnis with a vibrant, lively experience thanks to the brilliant growing sites.
