Tokaji Hárslevelű Késői Szüret, 2016

Recommended with desserts, roast duck and game dishes or with cheeses. This wine is excellent with dark chocolate desserts garnished with oranges or berries, or with mille feuille filled with strawberries or apricots. It is excellent with blue cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own as a dessert. A light late harvest wine that is easy to drink. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks (reductive technology), followed by a few months in oak barrels to preserve the fresh fruitiness. The intense nose reveals hints of linden blossom followed by candied ananas, apricot and passion fruit.

Late harvest wines rely on modern technology such as controlled fermentation and reductive technology. The harvested grapes are transported to our state-of-the-art processing plant where, after gentle crushing and destemming, they are macerated for a few hours and then pressed using vacuum membrane presses. The must is clarified by traditional settling and then fermented.
