The 2015 vintage won the “best white wine according to the press” title on the Eurasian Wine & Spirit Competition (EAWSC), held in cooperation and according to the rules of OIV.
The winery’s flagship dry wine is a selection of traditional bush vines on the top plot 57 of Úrágya, planted in 1921. The deep roots of the old plantation allow minerals from volcanic activity to be concentrated in half a kilogramme of grapes per vine. The musts are extracted by a renovated hundred-year-old hand press, fermented and aged in nearby Zemplén Mountains oak barrels made by a local cooperage.
